How to Add Hashtags
- Simply type a hashtag symbol (#) followed by the word or phrase you want to use as a tag (e.g., #ProductUpdate, #TeamNews).
- Letters, numbers, and underscores (_) may be used in your hashtags, but not spaces or special characters.
- The app will suggest existing hashtags as you type, helping you use consistent tags.
- You can add hashtags anywhere in your post or comment.
- Hashtags will appear in blue and bold text.
- Each hashtag can be between 2 and 80 characters long.
Tips for Creating Effective Hashtags
- Keep hashtags concise and relevant to the topic.
- You can use hashtags in different languages.
Finding Content with Hashtags
- Click on a hashtag to see all related posts and comments, or use the search bar to find posts and comments with specific hashtags. The search will only find hashtags that are stored in the database.
- Search results will show posts and comments from groups you are a member of, and you can filter results to see All, Posts, Comments, or Hashtags.
- Starting your search with a # will auto-select the Hashtag tab.
Viewing Comments with Hashtags
- When a hashtag appears in a comment, the parent post will be displayed along with the comments containing the hashtag.
- Click "View all comments" to see the entire comment thread.
