Make sure important updates don't get buried! You can pin critical Pulse posts to the top of a group feed, ensuring they remain visible to all users. Pinned posts will appear in a dedicated "Pinned" zone at the top of the feed and feature a clear "Pinned" badge 📌
Prerequisites
- Roles: Organization Administrators, Group Admins, Group Super Admins, and Pulse Editors.
How to pin and unpin a post:
- Navigate to the group feed and locate the published post you want to pin.
- Click the overflow action menu (⋯) on the post.
- Select Pin to top. The post will instantly receive a "Pinned" badge and move to the top zone upon the next feed refresh.
- To unpin, open the same menu on the pinned post and select Unpin.
Things to keep in mind:
- Manual Unpin Only: There is no auto-unpin or duration picker; admins must manually unpin posts when they are no longer relevant.
- Published Posts Only: You cannot pin a scheduled post until it is actively published.
- Featured Posts: Featured posts already sit at the top of the feed and cannot be pinned.
- No Limit: There is currently no hard cap on the number of pinned posts per group. The most recently pinned post will appear at the top of the pinned zone.
- Visibility: Pinned posts are scoped to the specific group feed and appear identically for all users in that group. They do not carry over to the combined "all groups" organization feed.
