A Moti and any of it's translations (if applicable) need to be approved by either a Chief Editor or an Organization Admin before it may be published (see more details on this process here). In order to avoid that a Moti is left waiting for approval for too long before getting the attention of the approver, we have introduced The Moti Approval Notification email.
As soon as the Moti is submitted for approval, the Chief Editor and/or Organization Admin associated with the Moti will now receive an immediate notification via email.
What determines who the email is sent to?
The email will be sent to:
- the assigned Chief Editors when both Chief Editors and Organization Admins are assigned as Moti editors
- to the assigned Organization Admins when there is no Chief Editors assigned
- to the assigned Organization Admins when both Organization Admins and Chief Editors are assigned as Moti editors, but the Chief Editors don’t have an email registered in the system
Please note:
If none of the editors for a particular Moti have approval rights, no one will receive the Approval Notification email for that Moti. The Training Editors should ensure they have assigned at least one Chief Editor and/or Organization Admin to the Moti before submitting the Moti or it's translation for approval in order to ensure someone will be notified.
What does the email look like?
