Admins and Editors can announce updates to a published Course Package or Learning Path at any time using the dedicated Notify users button.
Because editing content often involves multiple steps (e.g., adding items, reordering, fixing titles), notification delivery is decoupled from content additions. You can make all necessary updates first and choose exactly when to trigger the announcement by clicking the Notify users button.
How to Send an Update Notification
Open the published Course Package or Learning Path you wish to announce.
Complete all necessary edits and additions.
Click the Notify users button to send the update notification.
Button Availability & Prerequisites
The Notify users button will be disabled in the interface if any of the following conditions are true:
Unpublished Course Package or Learning Path:

No published content:
The container does not contain any published content yet.
Notifications disabled:
Notifications for the Course Package or Learning Path are disabled.
Note: If an action bypasses the interface while any of these conditions are active, the server will block the request and return a
422 Unprocessable Entityerror as a safety check.
