MFA helps to prevent unauthorized users from gaining access to an account. This article explains how to reset MFA for users in MotiSpace Settings when needed ๐
Before you go any further with the steps below, make sure you know for certain that the request to reset MFA is actually coming from the account holder.
Resetting MFA in MotiSpace Settings:
- Log into your Motimate account via Web. Only Organization Admins can reset MFA for other users.
- Go to MotiSpace Settings.
- Click on Users.
- Choose the user that needs to reset MFA.
- Click the three dots in the Account details, and choose Reset multi-factor authentication.
Congratulations! You have now reset MFA for your user.
The next time the user log in, they need to set up MFA again. It is important that they follow the steps in the link below.
