Positions in Motimate can be used in order to assign training specifically to people who serve different functions within your organization. Used in parallel with Groups, you can more specifically target your audience when you assign courses to your employees ๐ฏ
When you add users to your MotiSpace, you can assign them a Position (or multiple). We recommend that you avoid creating one Position in Motimate for every unique position in your organization, as this usually will create more complexity than is necessary. Instead, more broad Positions are recommended (ie. "Sales agent", "Team Leader", "Middle Management", "Board member").
If you assign training based on both Groups and Positions, the training will only be assigned to users who match both criteria, and not to users who only match one of the criteria. This means a user must be in at least one of the assigned groups AND hold at least one of the assigned Positions.

Adding a new Position
- Log into Motimate and select the cogwheel in the top right corner.
- Select the Positions tab in the menu on the left.
- Click Create Position in the top right corner.
- Give a Name to your new Position.
- Click Create Position, and your new Position will be created.
Congratulations! You have now created a new Position ๐
