Proviso can easily be integrated in Motimate to streamline event management and training. In this guide, we'll show you how to use Proviso with Motimate to create and manage events, and how participants are updated after completion.
Create the event in Proviso
1. Log in to your Proviso account
2. Select "Create New Event" and fill in the necessary information, such as title, date, time, location and any other detail.
3. Save the event.
Create a content block for the Event in Motimate
1. Log in to Motimate.
2. Go to Studio and create a new Moti.
3. Within the Moti, click on the content block called Event.
4. Set your desired title, upload an image/GIF/Poster and write a short description.
5. Next you need to go back to Proviso under Event setup. To find the Registration Form URL you click on Link in the top right corner. Copy registration form link to clipboard, and go back to your Moti. Paste the URL where it says Registration form URL.
6. Go back to Proviso and find the Event identifier. It should be visible under Event details. Copy and paste this into the Moti.
7. Save the content block and Moti.
Assign the Moti to users
1. Assign the Moti to the users or groups who should participate in the event.
Users registers for the Event
1. When the user opens the Moti, they will see the content block containing the event.
2. The user clicks on the link in the content block. This link carries the user's information and automatically registers them for the event in Proviso.
3. The user will receive confirmation that they are registered to the event.
Event completion
The event is conducted as planned. After the event is completed, users participation is automatically updated in Proviso. Users who have completed the event will be marked as "completed".
Once the event is completed and users are marked as "completed" in Proviso, the content block for the event will automatically be marked as completed in the Moti.
